Background
The regional programme “Think Globally, Develop Locally” (TGDL) is jointly managed by UNDP’s Bratislava Regional Centre and the Network of Associations of Local Authorities of Southeast Europe (NALAS). It is implemented in partnership with NALAS members and UNDP Country Offices in Macedonia, Moldova, and Kosovo. “Think Globally, Develop Locally” utilizes regional cooperation to initiate and implement local action addressing climate change issues, including energy efficiency, in South-east Europe.
Objectives:
The overall objective of the assignment is to establish sustainable processes and systems to ensure continuous improvement of the environmental governance and community involvement at local level.
Qualifications of the Civil Society Organisation
The Civil Society Organization shall have experience in developing and/or implementing projects in the field of environment protection and particularly in energy efficiency, and a track record in preparation of relevant associated products such as assessment reports and capacity development/training and awareness raising programmes.
The Civil Society Organization shall submit full reference list and a specific list of similar projects (at least 3 similar projects) and contact details of the clients of those similar projects for reference check (please indicate the e-mail addresses or fax numbers of the clients).
The maximum expected input is approximately 45 expert days (in total).
Qualifications of the personnel
The Civil Society Organisation shall offer a team of qualified experts with extensive experience in fields relevant to the assignment. The team shall include minimum the following experts for:
- Environmental Governance/Energy Efficiency (1)
- Capacity development/training (1)
- Awareness raising/social campaigns (1)
