EDBURGH CONSULTANTS/JUNIOR EXPERT – STATISTICAL SURVEY METHODOLOGIST

Junior expert – Statistical Survey Methodologist (38 Working Days)

The junior expert shall act under the supervision and direction of the Team Leader.

He/she will be responsible for the formulation of the surveying methodology (including the definition of modalities for posing questions and collecting responses); the drafting of the survey questionnaires (if applicable); the liaison with surveyed companies, including those who are hard to reach (or reluctant to respond); the verification and maintenance of data files for accuracy and internal consistency; the adjustment of surveys outcomes to correct for identified errors; the evaluation of test questions; etc.

Education

    • University degree in statistics, social sciences, mathematics, econometrics, business administration, finance, or equivalent, or 10 years of
       relevant professional experience
    • Fair knowledge of IT-based statistic surveying tools.

General Professional Experience.

    • At least 3 years of experience in preparation and implementation of statistic surveys

Specific Professional Experience

   • Minimum 1 years of experience in administering statistic surveys in the field of human resources management
   • Previous experience in auditing, accounting or financial control services will be considered as an advantage.
   • Previous experience with technical assistance projects in South-East Europe, and especially with grants, will be considered as an
      advantage.

Working language(s)

   • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
   • Knowledge of Serbian is required, since the surveys shall be carried out in local language.
