Position:

   - Expert 1 Team Leader — Highways Engineer 40 W/D Senior
   - Expert 2 Structural Engineer 35 W/D Senior
   - Expert 3 Quantity Surveyor 25 W/D Senior
   - Expert 4 Environmental Specialist W/D 15 Senior
   - Expert 5 Road Safety Audit Expert W/D 7 Senior

Objective:

The overall objective of the proj ect is to contribute to economic growth in Albania through improvement of the Albanian Road System in alignment with European and International standards.

Expert N° 1 – Highway Engineer — Team Leader

Qualifications and skills

    • University Qualification in Civil/Structural/Highway Engineering (or equivalent)
    • Proven leadership/managerial skills
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English

General professional experience

    • Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience related to roads design, construction and supervision.

Specific professional experience

    • Minimum experience of 8 years in road design.
    • Minimum one experience in drafling the works tender dossier based on the PRAG Works.

Within the Specific Professional experience, the following will be considered as assets:

    • Experience in developing/transition countries.

Expert N° 2 – Structures Engineer

Qualifications and skills

   • University Qualification in Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
   • Proficiency in spoken and written English

General professional experience

   • Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience related to the design, construction and supervision of bridge structures.

Specific professional experience

   • Minimum experience of 8 years in road bridge design

Within the Specific Professional experience, the following will be considered as assets:

   • Experience in developing/transition countries.

Expert 3 Quantity Surveyor

Qualifications and skills

   • University Qualification in Geodesy, topographical Surveying (or equivalent)
   • Proficiency in spoken and written English

General professional experience

   • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience related quantity surveying for the design, supervision and construction of engineering
      works.

Specific professional experience

   • Minimum experience of 5 years in position of quantity surveyor in road design projects.

Within the Specific Professional experience, the following will be considered as assets:

    • Experience in developing/transition countries.

Expert 4 Environment Specialist

Qualifications and skills

    • University Qualification in Environment (or equivalent)
    • Proficiency in spoken and written of English and Albanian are required

General professional experience

    • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as environmental specialist.

Specific professional experience

    • Have participated in preparation of EIA study reports in at least 2 different road design projects.

Expert 5 Road Safety Audit Specialist

Qualifications and skills

    • University Qualification in Civil/Traffic Engineering (or equivalent)
    • Proficiency in spoken and written English

General professional experience

    • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.

Specific professional experience

    • Minimum experience of 5 years in road design and construction

Within the Specific Professional experience, the following will be considered as assets:

    • Experience in developing/transition countries.
