Background:
Montenegro is entering the most demanding phase of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Expected opening the accession negotiation warns up on the need to strengthen capacities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The Ministry has an obligation, to provide support to additionally build and strengthen staff capacity with specific focus to civil servants that are required to carry out diplomatic and consular tasks in order to prepare and support them to respond to the professional requirements that await them in the future.
In alignment with the training need analysis, there is plan to organize general training for up to 50 junior staff trough implementation of four basic program modules. Important part of program curriculum will be implemented with engagement of senior staff and diplomats from the Ministry, but to ensure effective implementation of the complete curriculum, it is necessary to engage a number of additional trainers in order to cover the following topics (within the brackets are number of classes – 45 minutes):

Objectives of the assignment:
The objective of the assignment is to provide support to implementation of Curriculum of Diplomatic Academy.
Competencies:
• Demonstrates integrity by modeling the UN’s values and ethical standards;
• Promotes the vision, mission and strategic goals of UN/UNDP;
• Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability;
• Ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management and reporting;

• Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude;
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills;
• Demonstrates ability to manage complexities and work under pressure, as well as conflict resolution skills.
Qualifications and expertise:
• University degree in Social science and other related fields;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required, longer professional experience is advantage;
• Proven expertise in delivering trainings and lecturers;
• Experience in producing training materials;
• Excellent communication skills, facility in working with teams;
• Modern approach to delivery of policy advice and coaching of civil servants, and governmental officials.
