Background:
Youth unemployment, under-employment and informality impose heavy costs on the Albanian society and economy. Long unemployment spells early in life and extended periods in the informal economy affect the prospects of young people to secure a career job, a decent wage, their future and that of their families. 1. Youth employment is a priority in the regional development strategies
2. Incidence of informal and low-productivity jobs is reduced through innovative programmes targeting disadvantaged youth
at risk of labour market exclusion
3. The employability and income generating potential enhanced through active labour market measures implemented under
a public private partnership framework
4. An enabling environment for youth employment, as part of the larger corporate social responsibility agenda,
is promoted by relevant stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
• Master’s degree in a field relevant to the project, such as economics, education, management and/or international development;
• At least 3 years of experience in a complex multi-stakeholder environment working on CSR related issues;
