The Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, is pleased to announce the 2nd International Scientific Conference REDETE 2012 - Researching Economic Development and Entrepreneurship in Transition Economies. The official language of the Conference is English. This event will take place in Banja Luka (BiH), October 25-27, 2012.

Description:

The 2nd Annual REDETE conference seeks to identify new paradigms able to accommodate the complexity of economic development and entrepreneurship in transition and developing economies.  In order to solve complex societal problems in these countries an integrated or holistic approach by two or more disciplines is needed. Generally speaking, one of the key aspects of the REDETE forum is, in fact, Interdisciplinarity.  The 1st REDETE conference clearly identified this need. Also, the most recent economic and financial crises have revealed all the key weaknesses that transitional countries, either inherited from the previous system or generated during the transformation process. In practice, those weaknesses and problems are different from those of developed countries.
