Role Overview
An Analyst or Associate Banker is sought for the Podgorica Resident Office covering a range of sectors project activity including Financial Institutions, property and tourism, energy and the private sector in general.
Analyst Core role: To provide support / participate in the project preparation, appraisal and monitoring process under direct and continuous supervision. Future development of role: The Analyst can progress to more complex aspects of transaction processing, progressively gaining more responsibilities.
Associate Banker Core role: Will be responsible for making a contribution to the development and management of the Office's project portfolio.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant commercial experience in the financial sector for Analyst level and 4-5 years for Associate level. (e.g.
banking, finance, accounting, audit or project finance) gained from a major commercial/investment bank, equity fund, advisory services
or corporate finance firm.
- Good relevant degree from a leading university in the country of education (e.g. business administration, economics, finance).
- Credit analysis skills: ability to interpret accounts, understanding accounting principles and practice of credit analysis
- Financial analysis skills: ability to design financial models; identify, understand and help solve complex issues
- Sound understanding of business principles
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English and fluency in a local language
- Computer Literacy: Conversant with word-processing and spreadsheet packages and financial analysis models.
- Work experience in project finance in emerging markets, including Western Balkans/Eastern Europe will be advantage.
