Background
Literature today, survives in a rich, wide and chaotic space in relation with increasing communication utilities, new digital channels, increased creative writing efforts, intensive translation activities, effect of big media, rewards and activities. LIT CRI 2012 sets off for raising questions as well as searching for answers on new dimensions of literature, literature theory and literature criticism in the new millennium. To which directions 21th century literature heads, which characteristics are already obvious and which surprises hide the first indications inside are the questions waiting for answers. Trying to to reach for dimensions which are currently invisible to other geographies, curious about all innovations in every language, excited about all works comparing literature today, LIT CRI 2012 will be arranged between dates of 2-5 May 2012 by DAKAM in the hostage of MSFAU.
Participation Categories
- In-person participation: Regular conference presentation, the participants attend personally. One of the authors will present their work in
a 15-20 minutes time.
- Virtual presentation: A virtual participation is also available if you are unable to attend the conference in-person. You will submit a
PowerPoint presentation with voice-over (optional) or a video before the conference.
- Poster presentation: A poster presentation is also available if you are unable to attend the conference in-person. Your poster will be
exhibited in the exhibition hall of the conference venue during the conference. Your work will be included in the conference proceedings.
Registration
- In-person participation: 250 Euro
- Virtual presentation: 225 Euro
- Poster presentation: 200 Euro
- Student Discount: %10 (valid for undergraduate and graduate students)
It covers the entrance of all sessions, lunches, coffee breaks, symposium materials, opening and closing cocktails. The registration fee is independent of the number of the authors. It should be paid per presentation as part of the registration process. Participants are expected to register for every presentation separately, after the receiving the notification of acceptance.
