Objectives:

The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to contribute to improvement of living conditions of marginalised Roma and their social inclusion through an increased involvement of central and municipal authorities and the other local stakeholders.

The specific objective s of this Call for Proposals are:

   - Reconstruction and/or construction of Roma dwellings and related infrastructure in selected municipalities
   - Provision of socio-economic sustainable measures to ensure social integration of Roma families in selected municipalities

Fund

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 2.500.000. Contracting Authority reserves the right not to award all available funds.

Size of grants

The Contracting Authority will award one grant only.

Any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum percentages of total eligible costs of the action:

   - Minimum percentage:  50% of the total estimated eligible costs of the action.
   - Maximum percentage: 90% of the total eligible costs of the action

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:

    - be legal persons and
    - be non profit making and
    - be non-governmental organisations or international (inter-governmental) organizations
    - be established in a Member State of the European Union or a country that is a beneficiary of the Council Regulation (EC) N° 1085/2006,
      of 17 July 2006, establishing an Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) (Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and
      Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo under UNSCR 1244), a country that is a beneficiary of the European Neighbourhood and
      Partnership Instrument (Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco,
      Palestinian Authority of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine), or a Member State of the
      European Economic Area (Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway). This obligation does not apply to international organisations and
    - be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary
