Qualifications and skills:

     - University degree in relevant field, e.g. law, police studies, political science (or at least 15 years of professional experience in Border
       management policy formulation and implementation)
     - Professional level knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
     - Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and report writing skills
     - Full computer literacy

General professional experience:

     -At least 10 years experience in designing, coordinating and carrying out border control risk analyses
     - At least 5 years experience as educator I trainer in an area connected with Border Management
     - Experience in management and I or implementation of projects in EU candidate / potential candidate countries and/or member states

Specific professional experience:

     - Professional experience as consultant / officer in Border Police Department of an EU Member State or corresponding EU authority
     - At least 5 years in green border protection actions
