Qualifications and skills:

     - Suitable university education (e.g. technical sciences or related field) or at least 15 years of professional experience in usage and
       maintenance of surveillance equipment). A postgraduate degree is considered an advantage
     - In-depth knowledge of the Schengen Acquis standards
     - Knowledge of Serbian would be considered an asset
     - Professional level knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
     - Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and report writing skills
     - Full computer literacy

General professional experience:

     - Minimum 10 years experience in management and use of video surveillance equipment and associated databases / IT equipment
     - Experience as senior expert on relevant projects in EU candidate I potential candidate countries and / or member states

Specific professional experience:

     - Professional experience In the area of interconnection and interoperability of various data gathering and analyzing systems relevant for
       border control and border control databases
