Required Skills and Experience

Education

   • Advanced degree in economics, international law, development studies, and/or gender studies and/or international relations, or similar.
      Masters or PhD would be an advantage.

Experience

   • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
   • Recognized expertise and specialized knowledge in policy and budget analysis, preferably focused on gender mainstreaming tools and
      techniques
   • Experience in producing substantive assessments of programs for Governments and/or International organisations;
   • Experience in delivering training programmes using adult learning methodologies.
   • Familiarity with Macedonian policy making and decentralization systems and processes, as well as on the position of women and gender
      equality will be considered asset
   • Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills in Macedonian and in English;
   • Demonstrated ability to lead a research team;
   • Good computer skills in Windows environment, knowledge of internet communications and command of MS Office applications (Power
      Point, Word, Excel).

Expected Duration of Assignment : 10th September – 15th November (25 working days)
