Background:
UNDP Kosovo has been active in the area of anti-corruption since 2004, developing the capacities of Kosovo institutions to perform in an efficient, transparent, accountable, and gender sensitive manner. Promoting the use of modern communication tools, such as social media, and involving citizens in fighting corruption and monitoring of government decision making are other focus issues which UNDP Kosovo is innovatively addressing through various initiatives to ensure greater transparency and accountability.

Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Master Degree (or equivalent) in social science, public administration, political science, law or a similar field;
Experience:
- 2 years of post master relevant working experience in project management, and/or establishing relationships
among international organization and local institutions/communities;
- Proven track record in a field such as community development or public administration;
- Previous experience in development assistance or related work for an international agency or donor organization or NGO;
- Proven ability to coordinate complex programs with diverse range of partners;
- Ability to analyze and apply social media concepts to the local development field;
- Good knowledge of Kosovo’s political issues and challenges
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and advance knowledge of
spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in both oral and written English, Albanian and/or Serbian

Duration of Initial Contract: 6 months
