UNDP KOSOVO/ RFP FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF THE EMPLOYMENT MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (EMIS)

Description of Activity / Project:

The enhancement of the Employment Management Information System has been envisaged as one of the priorities in the Kosovo Employment Strategy and MLSW Sectorial Action Plan. The system will facilitate the work of the public employment offices and vocational training providers to better align their services to the PES clients. UNDP will support the MLSW through the ALMP project to enhance the software and fully operationalize the Employment Management Information System functioning in Kosovo.

Purpose of RFP:

Employment Management Information System is a management tool used by the Public Employment Service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. The system serves as a tool for the PES to manage the data of unemployed, jobseekers, employers and training providers. This system has been previously developed however it needs a thorough upgrade in order to be fully functional.

Aim:

The overall objective of the assignment is to enhance the software of the Employment Management Information System (EMIS) adapted to the particular requirements identified by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare. The EMIS should be in line with the integrated concept of working with main PES clients: the jobseekers and employers. EMIS software must be upgraded/ developed in full accordance with the requirements as specified in the TOR set forward by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and in compliance with the legislation in  force.
