General Project Background:
The aim of this project is to build the institutional capacity in order to improve the design and delivery of existing social inclusion policies by strengthening the capacities and skills of relevant stakeholders and to promote multi-sectoral and inter-institutional cooperation.
The overall objective of the project is:
To improve the efficiency and quality of social services in respect to provide access and facilitate the integration of vulnerable groups in the labour market.
Specific Objectives:
The specific objective(s) of the current assignment are to:
- Assistance by definition of objectives and institutional framework of the database
- Describing and recording data format, in line with defined tools, to be utilised in the shared database
- Development of methodology and procedures of collecting data and reporting
- Supporting the preparation of database requirements for KE and NKSE
- Detailed description of format and procedures of data collection and reporting
- Work out detailed dataflow diagrams with special consideration of interfacing existing database systems
- Guided description and documentation of technical specifications
Experience and skills:
Educational/Professional background:
- A Master or University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. (where a University Degree has been
awarded on completion of minimum three years of study in a university or equivalent institution)
General professional experience:
- Proven minimum of 5 years of general professional experience in the field of analysis, development and implementation
of IT system, especially databases.
Specific professional experience:
- At least 2 implemented projects in the area of Database Design or Database Programming
- Social inclusion experience and knowledge of social inclusion indicators will be considered as an advantage.
Skills:
- Good organisational, communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
- Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
