The purpose of IPA INFO funds is to provide clear and factual information to the citizens in the IPA beneficiary countries on EU enlargement and on pre-accession assistance; to strengthen the dialogue with stakeholders and to establish a two-way communication about the EU in order to increase its visibility and understanding of it.. One of the activities implemented with IPA INFO funds in Croatia is dedicated to promotion of civil society development and dialogue which generates higher awareness and knowledge about the EU, as well as public support for the EU accession process.
It has been recognised that civil society organisations (CSOs) in Croatia in general have a rather high degree of credibility amongst Croatian population. They can be one of the best multipliers of EU integration process, especially among youth or in sectoral policies.


Size of grants

Any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
   - minimum amount: EUR 50,000
   - maximum amount: EUR 80,000

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:
   - be legal persons and
   - be non profit making and
   - be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, public sector operators, local authorities and
   - be established in a Member State of the European Union, or in IPA eligible countries and
   - be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary.
