Contract description                                                                                 Maximum budget: EUR 1.300.000

The overall objective to which this project contributes is the establishment and implementation of a contemporary, transparent and efficient payment system, as well as an efficient, transparent and competitivecapital market in compliance with the EU regulation governing this area.
This project consists of 2 components. The main goal of the first component of the project is to implement theDirective 2007/64/EC into the national legislative base for payment services as well as other complementary EU legislation in order to establish a safe and efficient payment service market in line with the EU standards. The second component is aimed to improve the regulation governing the establishment, operations and obligationsof all capital market participants. For this purpose, legislation in the field of the capital market needs to beharmonised with the EU Directives governing this area, resulting in preparation of new capital market law.

Budget

Maximum budget: 1 300 000 EUR.

Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) ofcandidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of theregions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which thecontract is financed (see also item 29 below). Participation is also open to international organisations. Theparticipation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme underwhich the contract is financed.
