OSCE MISSION TO BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA/ SENIOR POLITICAL ADVISER* (DEPUTY DIRECTOR, POLICY AND PLANNING UNIT) (VNBAHS00581)

Requirements

   - Advanced university degree in international relations, political science, social sciences, development studies or related fields
   - Minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the
     management level relevant to the actual position
   - Professional fluency in the English language, both oral and written

Responsibilities

   - Manages and co-ordinates the work of the Political Officers and supervises two National Political Officers in PPU
   - Supports and advises the D/PPU and the Senior Representatives of the Head of Mission in co-ordinating the work of Political Officers in
     the field
   - Provides strategic analysis of political issues, ensuring that trends and developments relevant to the Mission's work are brought to the
     attention of the Mission's management, through the Director of Policy and Planning
   - Represents the Mission at external events; delivers presentations to external audiences on political developments in Bosnia and
     Herzegovina
