Requirements
- First level university degree in human resources, public/business administration, management, economics, law, political science, social
science or related field; an advanced university degree would be an asset
- A minimum of six years of relevant professional experience, part of which related to human resources management (recruitment,
administration or staff development) either in public service, police/military, private enterprises, non-profit sector or international
organization
- Experience in building or managing expert rosters/databases would be an asset
- Professional fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of other OSCE working languages would
be an asset
Responsibilities
- Compiling information about secondment policies and practices of participating States in relation to sourcing, identifying, screening,
nominating and supporting candidates and seconded staff/mission members as a follow up to the 2010 survey on secondments
- Proposing and developing activities aimed to improve secondment policies and practices
- Assisting in branding, marketing and outreaching activities in order to attract qualified professionals to the OSCE
- Reviewing and re-organizing OSCE rosters of experts for specific functions and fields of expertise, including consultants, temporary
assistance, police/gender specialists; proposing improvements to the management of such rosters resulting in improved functionality and
usability
