Qualifications and skills

     - University degree in law, economics, engineering or equivalent or at least 15 years of professional experience in competition policy
       formulation and implementation;
     - Fluency in the English language;
     - In-depth knowledge of the EU Acquis and EU case law in the area of competition;
     - Excellent management, communication, reporting and presentation skills;
     - Knowledge of EU project management and procurement procedures;

General professional experience

     - Proven minimum 10 years experience in design and enforcement of competition policy preferably in an EU Member State or EU
       candidate or potential candidate country;
     - Experience as Team Leader in at least two EU funded projects in the field of competition policy.

Specific professional experience

     - Proven minimum 7 years of experience in handling competition cases, investigations and analysis;
     - Experience in performing capacity building activities including training and on-the-job advice in the field of competition policy
       enforcement;
     - Experience in competition advocacy activities;
     - Experience in working in/with Competition Authority will be considered an advantage;
