Background
UN Women’s project Advancing Women’s Economic and Social Rights in Serbia and Montenegro is being implemented in the period 2010–2013, with the financial support of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway. The goal of the project is to contribute to the elimination of gender-based discrimination at the labour market by providing support to key policy and service delivery institutions to mainstream gender in their policies, programs, operations and budgets and to develop informed policy measures.
Responsibilities
Organise series of meetings with representatives of signatory companies to ensure their support, interest and understanding of possible next steps with regards to WEPs implementation and engage in discussion on their needs and areas for further support in this area
Develop the outline of the signatory companies session and support international partners in delivering this session
Propose methodology of pre and post assessment of participants knowledge and prepare a comprehensive evaluation report
Prepare the report on the session, outlining key challenges, areas of support and conclusions.
Requirements
- A university degree in the areas of humanities, law, social sciences, economy, gender studies or similar
- Previous work on the topics of the corporate social responsibility will be considered as an advantage
- Interest and/or experience in gender equality and/or past cooperation with UN will be considered as an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Serbian
Duration of Initial Contract: in the period 1st November 2012 – 31st January 2013
