Requirements
- University degree in economics, public administration, development, education, gender or any
relevant field;
- At least 5 years’ experience and expertise in the vocational education, training sector and/or
in employment policies in Albania;
- Specific experience in lifelong learning life would be an asset;
- Experience on report writing;
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in gender work;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team;
- Strong analytical, writing and communication skills in both Albanian and English;
- Good computer skills in Windows environment, knowledge of internet communications
and command of MS Office applications (Power Point, Word, Excel,).
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all the meetings of the SWG1 as well as the Working Group on
the Employment Strategy by contributing to debates, raising gender issues, providing
feedback, and taking notes to report to UN Women/Albania NPC;
- Participate and contribute technically in workshops on the VET and Employment
strategy that could be organized by different partners and members of the two groups;
- Contribute with relevant comments and contributions to all documents submitted to
members of the SWG 1;
- Prepare written contributions to ensure that the VET and Employment Strategies’
structure, principles, approach and background documents all contribute in ensuring
women’s needs are taken into account and the gender perspective is mainstreamed;
- Contribute and support to regional consultations;
- Prepare a final report with recommendations for the following phases of the VET and
Employment Strategies;
