CIVIL/ RAILWAY ENGINEER (TL)

Description:

Provision of the technical assistance related to implementation of IPA funds in the field of Transport

Global objective:

To assist the EU Delegation with the work associated with selected projects under IPA Programme – Component III a Transport Operating Programme (TOP).

Specific objectives:

- To assist the EU Delegation in the assessment of the railway infrastructure project related to the Upgrade of the corridor Vb, section Dugo   Selo– Krizevci.
- To assist the EU Delegation in the monitoring of the implementation for the projects: (a) Zagreb Main Railway Station - Upgrade of signalling   system and interlocking (b) Upgrade of the corridor X, Section Okucani – Novska.

Qualification and skills:

Masters Degree, academic level in Civil Engineering, or in its absence, equivalent professional experience of 5 years in addition to the 10 years of GPE mentioned below. This qualification is considered as absolutely required.

General professional experience:

At least 10 years of professional experience in planning, design, procurement or construction of civil works for the railway infrastructure. This experience is considered as absolutely required.

Specific professional experience:

- Knowledge of related EU standards and requirements of civil works for the railway infrastructure.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in preparation, assessment or implementation of works contracts related to civil works for the   railway infrastructure in accordance with FIDIC and EU procedures, especially Practical Guide to Contract procedures for EU external   action (PRAG).
