Requirements
- Advanced degree in social sciences, law, or other related fields
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the area of child protection, including work on violence and abuse against children
- Solid experience in child protection system development, in particular protective service delivery
- Previous experience in the development of training materials and conducting training programmes
- Full mastery of the English language.
Responsibilities
The contracted expert is expected to provide technical support to the Government for establishment of multidisciplinary response services for children exposed to violence and abuse, through review of the legal framework, assessment of the existing response services for children victim of abuse and violence, and development of a model for multidisciplinary services together with the relevant normative framework (laws and by-laws), and support establishment of the pilot teams through training, institutional capacity building, and technical guidance.
