Requirements:
- University Degree in Law or Completed first, second or third cycle of Bologna Process at the Faculty
of Law;
- 1 year of work experience with human rights/legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Acting upon and timely processing of individual complaints;
- Participate in performing assessment of incidence of human rights violations;
- Participate in development of specialized reports on certain human rights violations;
- Inform the public in cases of non-compliance with the recommendations of the Ombudsman;
- Support organisation of periodic meetings with the representatives of the relevant authorities
established in order to endorse human rights;
- Support organisation of expert discussions and seminars on combating stereotypes and prejudices
towards national minorities and other vulnerable groups;
- Participate in development of special reports on the rights of vulnerable categories from the aspect
of legislative reform;
- Participate in development of Analysis of the harmonisation of positive legislation with the Law on
Prohibition of Discrimination;
- Participate in development of regular reports on the implementation of the Law on Prohibition of
discrimination;
- Cooperate with civil society involved in protection from discrimination;
- Support awareness raising activities of adults and the children on the rights of the child;
- Perform analysis of the situation in the field of economic, social and cultural rights;
- Support monitoring over the cases found to be very sensitive and participate in development of
reports on the effectiveness of court protection;
- Establish cooperation with NGOs and provide support to NGOs in strengthening of their capacity
ensure further protection and promotion of human rights;
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department or ombudsman.

End November 2012 to end March 2013
