UNDP BIH/ COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP GROUP MODERATOR FOR „NORTH-EAST” REGION, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Requirements:

   - University degree in the area of social sciences, preferably economics or public relations.
   - Proven record of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the area of community    
     development, citizen participation and local development;
   - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
   - Minimum 2 years proven experience in animation/moderation of community initiatives and    
     processes;
   - Experience in facilitation, moderation of public events, roundtables, etc.;
   - Proven analytical skills and ability to conceptualise and write concisely and clearly;
   - Proven communication and presentation skills and ability to work in an environment requiring liaison
     and collaboration with multiple actors including local government representatives, communities,      
     donors and other stakeholders.
   - Fluency in official languages in BiH and English language.
   - Familiar with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities:

   - Support to integrated and participatory local development planning;
   - Support to transforming existing local development strategies into concrete implementable actions.

Duration of the Initial Contract:

December 2012 – October 2013
