UNDP CROATIA/ PROJECT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - SOCIAL INCLUSION PROGRAMME

Requirements:


   - Degree in humanities, social science or related field;
   - Proven knowledge of social statistics and experience in processing and analysing statistical data using
     both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
   - Experience with project development and project management, preferably in the field of social
     welfare and climate change.
   - Familiarity with national and European Union’s legislative, institutional and financial framework
     related to social inclusion,
   - Good understanding of key stakeholders in Croatian labour and social welfare system.
   - Excellent analytical abilities.
   - Excellent drafting/writing abilities and skills in both Croatian and English language.
   - Willingness to participate in all aspects of UNDP programme activities
   - Minimum five years of working experience in project development and implementation;
   - Minimum five years experience in analysing socio-economic issues, in particular those related to
     labour market and poverty;
   - At least two year experience in preparation of project documentation;
   - At least two years experience of working on tasks that required approach to/use of international
     donors and EU funding instruments;
   - At least three years experience of cooperation with civil society organisation and national
     governmental bodies;
   - Experience with working to build public awareness about inclusion/exclusion issues.

Responsibilities:

   - Development of quality project proposals in thematic areas: socio-economic analysis of welfare
     and/or labour market policies and drafting/elaboration of particular project components for the SI
     programme, as well as identifying funding sources;
   - Managing day to day implementation of a Roma Inclusion project in Medjimurje
   - Helping to build capacity of key non-governmental partners in project development and fundraising;
   - Ensuring public availability and outreach of project outputs when appropriate (inputs for project web
     site assistance in creation of promotion materials, social media outreach, etc.);
   - Keeping records of project activities and organizing project documentation;
   - Delivering outputs in a timely fashion.

1 year
