RFP FOR DESIGNING AND DELIVERING TRAINING ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

Background:

Youth unemployment, under employment and informality impose heavy costs on the Albanian society and economy. Long unemployment spells early in life and extended periods in the informal economy affect the prospects of young people to secure a career job, a decent wage, their future and that of their families. High percentages of unemployment youth mean that investments in education and training are wasted, that there is a reduced taxation base and higher welfare costs.
 
The overall objective of the project will be achieved through four strategic components:
   - Youth employment is a priority in the regional development strategies
   - Incidence of informal and low-productivity jobs is reduced trough innovative programmes targeting
     disadvantages youth at risk of labour market exclusion
   - The employability and income generating potential enhanced trough active labour market measures
     implemented under a public private partnership framework
   - An enabling environment for youth employment, as part of the larger corporate social responsibility
     agenda, is promoted by relevant stakeholders

Scope of work:

UNDP is looking to contact a local company who will be tasked with the following:
   - Prepare and deliver one introductory training session on basic CRS principles targeting PSIOs
   - Give the outcomes of the first training/ consultation session, prepare and submit to UNDP a time
     bound training plan that reflects the training needs of the intermediaries.
   - Develop three TOT training modules
   - Prepare and deliver one introductory training session on basic CSR principles targeting two sector-
     specific groups
   - Develop two sets of CSR implementation methodological guidelines and tools that will aid CSR
     implementation in enterprises in the selected sectors.
