UNDP ALBANIA/ INTERNATIONAL EXPERT FOR ART GOLD 2 PROGRAMME

Responsibilities:

   - The International Expert– under the guidance and in close collaboration with the relevant UNDP
     Cluster Manager and  the ArtGold2 Programme Management – will provide advisory services and
    support the Programme Management during the implementation to:
   - Identify priority areas and activities for concrete action and focus by the Art Gold 2 programme, in
     consultation with potential national and international partners.
   - Contribute to ART GOLD 2 efforts to demonstrate effective and successful local development
      approaches, which could form the basis for setting ‘best practice’ models and their up-scaling.
   - Broaden and consolidate partnerships in support to the programme and to the benefit and strategic
     priorities identified in the programme regions.

Reqiurements:

   - Advanced university degree in social science, business administration or any related topic with
     human development or relevant work experience.
   - At least 10 years of experience working in the field of local development;
   - Good knowledge of the role, mechanism and function of decentralized cooperation and Art schemes
     as well as previous working experience in these areas would be considered a strong asset;
   - Previous experience in the country or knowledge of country context in the areas of local governance
     and development would be considered an asset.
   - Proven experience of networking and fundraising.
   - Fluency in English
