UNDP BIH/ TERMINAL EVALUATION CONSULTANT

Responsibilities:

   - Review the original documents;
   - Participate in the design of the evaluation methodology;
   - Organize the mission program, arrange and facilitate meetings with key stakeholders;
   - Provide regular translation/interpretation as necessary;
   - Translation of key recommendations and summary of report for circulation;
   - Draft related parts of the evaluation report, as relevant;
   - Assist the International Team Leader in finalizing the draft report by incorporating inputs received;
   - Act as an interpreted when/if needed for the International Team Leader.
   - Provide other support services for the International Team Leader.

Reqiurements:

   - Advanced university degree in environmental field or related area
   - Minimum 5 years  experience
   - Proven track record with policy advice and/or project development/implementation in biodiversity in
     transition economies;
   - Proven track record of application of results-based approaches to evaluation of projects focusing on
     renewable energy and biomass energy
   - Relevant experience in the region and within UN system would be an asset;
   - Familiarity with priorities and basic principles of projects focusing of biomass energy and relevant
     international best-practices;
   - Knowledge of and recent experience in applying UNDP and GEF M&E policies and procedures;
   - Proven ability and practical experience in monitoring and evaluation of international projects.
   - Excellent knowledge of English and local (BiH) languages.
