SUPERVISION FOR RENOVATION AND REHABILITATION WORKS FOR MARDIN 1ST STREET

Description:

The assignment includes supervision and contract management services. The Works contract aims to reach a qualified urban environment on the 1st Street of Mardin with harmonious and suitable facades with the historical urban pattern. The works which will be implemented under the Supervision and Contract Management of the Consultant comprises of:
-Renovation and Rehabilitation works of the buildings located on the 1st Street of Mardin which has a length of 2. 7 km. The works will be
 executed on the facades of the buildings located both on the southern and northern side of the street.
-Stone paving of the 1st Street;
-Supply and assembly of urban furniture such as signs, street lights and etc.

Qualifications and skills:

For Team Leader position:
-University degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
-Good command of written and spoken English
-Full computer literacy
-Master's degree in a relevant area (eg. Restoration) will be an asset

For Architect position:
-University degree in Architecture
-Good command of written and spoken English
-Full literacy in computer aided design tools such as AutoCAD
-Master's degree in restoration will be an asset

Experience:

For Team Leader position:
-Preferably 15 years but a min. of 10 years of construction supervision/management experience (as a supervisor or contractor)
-At least 5 years of working experience in the supervision of works contracts,
-Experience in at least one construction project implemented with FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) Conditions of
 Contract as a supervisor or contractor. Experience as a consultant assigned to prepare the tender dossier of a works contract to be
 implemented with FIDIC Conditions of Contract will also be accepted.
-Experience in at least one renovation and/or restoration project
-Experience in establishment and implementation of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) procedures will be an asset
-Experience in claims management will be an asset

For Architect position:
-Preferably 10 years but a minimum of 7 years of construction supervision/management experience (as a supervisor or contractor)
-Experience in at least 2 projects at site for restoration and/or renovation works
-Proven design experience record in restoration of registered historical buildings will be an asset
