MK-SKOPJE: IPA — CAPACITY BUILDING OF THE COMPETENTAUTHORITIES FOR FOOD SAFETY, VETERINARY AND PHYTOSANITARY POLICY

Contract description:

The purpose of this contract is to provide technical assistance for improving the institutional framework forfood safety in the country, by strengthening the existing system of competent bodies and institutions in order toensure an integrated multidisciplinary approach, covering all food chain stages.
In particular, the contract shall incorporate:
-administrative and institutional strengthening of the Food and Veterinary Agency, Phytosanitary Directorateand State Phytosanitary
 Laboratory,
-phytosanitary monitoring programme for plant health,
-preparation for accreditation of inspection services.

Eligibility:

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) ofcandidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of theregions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which thecontract is financed (see also item 29 below). Participation is also open to international organisations. Theparticipation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme underwhich the contract is financed.

Number of applications:

No more than 1 application can be submitted by a natural or legal person whatever the form of participation (asan individual legal entity or as leader or member of a consortium submitting an application). In the event that anatural or legal person submits more than 1 application, all applications in which that person has participated willbe excluded.
