Description:

The purposes of this contract are as follows:
- To prepare project documentation for water and wastewater investment projects for financing and implementation under EU funds in
  accordance with the Croatian Legislation and the EU Acquis;
- To ensure the absorption of an adequate allocation of EU funds through preparation of sufficient number of full mature project in the early
  phase of Cohesion / Structural policy implementation in Croatia.

The expert will be responsible for the coordination and management of design and permitting activities for the projects.

Requirements:

- Masters Degree Academic level (University level education in duration of at least 4 years) in Civil Engineering;
- 10 years of professional working experience;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of preparation of wastewater infrastructure projects;
- Experience in the preparation of at least 2 tender dossiers for works contracts under FIDIC rules for two waste water treatment plants
  and/or one waste water collection and one waste water treatment plants;
- Experience in the design of at least one WWTP with a capacity of at least 5.000 PE in the last 5 years;
- Experience in the design of at least 4 kilometre of waste water collectors with a size at least of DN 500 mm or experience in conceptual
  design of sewerage system for settlement of at least 5.000 inhabitants;
- Experience in designing of wastewater infrastructure projects in EU funded (IPA or Structural Funds or Cohesion Fund) projects;
- Working knowledge of English;
- Computer literacy -MS Office applications, e-mail, internet, Computer aided design, GIS;
- Advantage: certified by the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers (HKIG).
