Requirements
- Completed secondary education, supplemented by formal training in project management, administration, teachers training or languages
- Minimum 4 years experience in the field of education at local and national level working issues such as the country's education system,
multi-ethnic education, decentralization&education, depolitization of education, pupils'/ parents'/ teachers' training, extra- curricula
activities, and capacity building for education, preferably in multi-ethnic , post-conflict environments; experience in drafting reports and
research papers
- Knowledge of the project cycle and procedures for preparation and implementation of projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in local languages
Responsibilities
- Participates in identification of the needs of improvement and development of educational system in the country through research, data
collection and contacts
- Supports the Education team in policy assistance and project formulation and implementation
- Participates in liaison, meeting and contacts with the local NGOs and other relevant stakeholders regarding projects, budgetary and
reporting issues, and prepares minutes of meetings
- Conducts research on relevant laws and regulations, conducts surveys, follows-up on the developments in the field of education
