OSCE MISSION IN KOSOVO/ CHIEF, EQUALITY/NON-DISCRIMINATION/ANTI-TRAFFICKING SECTION (VACANCY NUMBER: VNKOSS01427)

Requirements

   - University education in political sciences, international relations, public policy, law, international human rights law or other human rights
     related fields
   - Minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the
     management level relevant to the actual position
   - Professional fluency in the English language and capability of drafting reports under pressure and within short deadlines

Responsibilities

   - Provides strategic direction for the Equality/Non-Discrimination/Anti-Trafficking Section in co-operation with other sections of the Department
     of Human Rights and Communities;
   - Co-ordinates the Section's activities with regard to the monitoring of Human Rights and Anti-trafficking issues, incluidng human rights
      mechanisms at the central and the local level;
   - Oversees the design and implementation of the Section's projects on a range of human rights topics including anti-trafficking, gender and
     violence against women;   
   - Designs monitoring programmes aimed at assessing the implementation of international human rights standards in Kosovo as well as in
     supporting human rights treaty body reporting;
