DELEGATION OF EU TO THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA/ COMPETITION FOR BEST IDEAS TO CELEBRATE EUROPE DAY 2013 FOR CSO'S

The Delegation of the European Union is pleased to invite civil society organisations to participate in the activities and festivities marking the 2013 Europe Day with their own ideas designed to bring the EU closer to the public. The project proposals should be as innovative as possible and designed to provide maximum communication impact at national and/or local level. Applications promoting the EU culture, EU values and the debate on the country’s integration into the European Union as well as informing on what the EU means and stands for, are particularly encouraged.

Eligibility

Applications will be accepted from non-governmental organisations, local associations, academic institutions and other civil society organisations which are specialized in- provision of information on or have shown keen interest in EU matters. The organisations which are interested in applying should submit:
   - Letter of interest presenting briefly their expertise and experience in the area in which they work, the projects of the organisation and
     achieved results (maximum 1 page)
   - Project summary describing the proposed activities including objectives, target groups, timeframe, budget breakdown and amount of
     contribution requested (maximum 3 pages)

Funding

The EU Delegation with a total budget of maximum EUR 10,000 will support up to three organisations, with up to EUR 5,000 each. The overall project budget can be higher if funds are available from other sources. The project activities have to be carried out within the period 01 – 31 May 2013.
