OSCE MISSION TO SERBIA/ POLICE TRAINING ADVISER (VACANCY NUMBER: VNSRMS00348)

Requirements

   - Police administrative courses in relevant field and specialized subject area
   - Minimum 10 years of diversified police experience including at least 12 months operational experience in the relevant field and specialized
     subject area
   - Professional fluency in the English language, both oral and written

Responsibilities

   - Advises the Mission and the Ministry of Interior on the development, implementation and evaluation of the police training programmes
     and strategies, as well as on introduction and maintenance of a unified training management cycle
   - Provides advice and recommendations to the Ministry of Interior on a strategic approach to specialized police training and management
     training, including on effective management and co-ordination of these types of training
   - Conducts training needs analysis with Ministry of Interior officials, assesses the results and proposes appropriate police training
     strategies based on the existing best practices, the Mission's mandate and other applicable guidelines
   - Develops, carries out or assists the implementation and monitoring of other training projects/initiatives that respond to identified needs
     from the OSCE, national and international partners, within the frame of the Mission's mandate and its available resources
