Objective
The overall objective of the programme of which this contract will be a part is to prepare Albania for implementation of the acquis communautaire, in particular in the sectors of justice and home affairs, education and environment protection.
The objective of this assignment is to have in place external technical experts, who could assist Project Managers (engineers) working in the EU Delegation to Albania on various tasks related to implementation of infrastructure projects funded by IPA assistance.
Requirements
- University degree in the field of civil/environmental engineering with specialization (e.g. post graduate studies) in wastewater treatment.
- Other relevant qualification (chemistry, microbiology, etc.) in wastewater treatment process design would be an advantage.
- The Expert shall be fluent in English language; at least level 2 in the scale where level 1 is excellent and level 5 is basic.
- At least 10 years postgraduate professional experience in design of municipal wastewater treatment plants.
- Key expert role in selection and preparation of process designs including drafting Employer’s Requirements for minimum 3 municipal
WWTPs to be implemented under design-build/turnkey basis.
