EXPERT FOR STUDY ON BASELINE ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND ENERGY MEASURES IN PUBLIC BUILDINGS

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop Study analyses model on EE status and proposed measures in public sector buildings (30 March 2013);
- Collect and analyze data on energy characteristics of the buildings, energy needs, energy consumptions, propose potential energy efficiency measures and their effects (environmental and financial) (30 April 2013);
- Prepare and submit final Study on baseline energy consumption and energy measures in public buildings (15 May 2013).

Required Skills and Experience

Education: 
- University degree in  Civil Engineering or Technical Sciences

Experience:
-Minimum 5  years of professional experience in the relevant field of environment, climate change and energy efficiency;
-Experience of designing and delivering of analysis methods in the  field of environment, climate change and EE;
-Extensive knowledge and understanding of environment, climate change and EE issues and their importance in the regional and local context,
- Knowledge on mainstreaming gender equality into environmental, climate change and EE issues.

Language:
- Fluency in both written and spoken Bosnia and Herzegovina languages;
- Knowledge of English language.

Individual consultants will be evaluated based on the Cumulative analysis. The award of the contract will  be made to the individual consultant whose offer has been evaluated and determined as:
- Responsive/compliant/acceptable, and
 - Having received the highest score out of a pre-determined set of weighted technical (70%) and financial (30%) criteria.

Applicants are required to submit an application including:

- Letter of interest explaining why do you consider yourself the most suitable for the work and a brief methodology on how you will approach and conduct the work;
- Completed and signed UNDP Personal History Form
- Financial proposal indicating the breakdown of costs (including fee, travel expenses and all other applicable fees).  Consultation events will be organized on different locations   within the country. The candidates are expected to organize transportation to and from the consultation event location on their own.
