EBRD/ROAD REHABILITATION, PROCUREMENT REF: 6670-GPN-37543

Background

The State of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received the loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for a Project to rehabilitate priority road sections in the two Entities (Republika Srpska and Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) in order to bring the network up to maintainable standard. In addition, the Project will improve the efficiency of the road sector through the provision of consultancy services to assist both with the introduction of performance based maintenance contracts and with the enhancement of Financial Management Information Systems (MIS). The project, which has a total estimated cost equivalent to EUR 75 million, will require the procurement of the following works:

1. Civil works on rehabilitation and reconstruction of the following two new road sections in Republika Srpska:

    - Rehabilitation of road R 476 Celinac - Ukrina, length of about 24.15 km
    - Rehabilitation of road M15 Rogolji - Baraci – granica RS, length of about 38.50 km

2. Civil works on rehabilitation and reconstruction of the following two new road sections in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

    - Rehabilitation of road M-18 Ljubače - Živinice km 6+765 - km 8+095 and M-18 Đurđevik - Vitalj km 19+582 - km 41+708
    - Rehabilitation of road M-18 Olovske Luke - Bakići km 61+800 - km 69+502 and M-18 Srednje izlaz – Ljubina km 89+800 - km 91+100
    - Rehabilitation of road M-5.1 Kaonik - Bukovci(prema Bilalovcu km 0+000 -  km 13+300
    - Rehabilitation of road M-5.1 Rehabilitation of road  Bilalovac - Fojničko r. km 17+650 - km 24+750
    - Rehabilitation of road M-5.1 Kreševsko +300  - Šamin Gaj km 30+250 - km 45+300

Eligibility

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country.
