Background


Gender Programme IPA 2010, run by the UNDP, Department for Gender Equality of the Ministry of Justice, and Delegation of European Union to Montenegro and financed from IPA 2010, aims to improve the status of women as reflected in personal integrity, economic advancement and political representation. The specific objective of the project is to strengthen capacities,improve mechanisms, advance policies and improve the conditions for the implementation of the NAP for Gender Equality infollowing three areas: Fight against Violence in Family, Political Empowerment of Women and Economic Empowerment of Women.

Objectives of the assignment

The purpose is to recruit one local consultant who will develop and deliver programs for women economic empowerment and to assist to the local self-government in Pljevlja to upgrade support for entrepreneurs.

Qualifications and expertise

- University degree (VII level of qualification) in Economy or relevant field. Alternativelly, higher school degree (V level of qualification) in relevant field plus 10 yers of working experience;
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in the field of women entrepreneurship;
- Experience in working with municipality of Pljevlja;
- Experience in delivering training programs and mentorship to women enterpreneurs;
- Previous work experience with UN/UNDP or other international organizations will be considered as an advantage;
- Good knowledge of English language will be an asset;
- Excellent social, communication skills and ability to operate under pressure.
