EBRD/SARAJEVO CANTON WATER AND WASTEWATER PROJECT, PROCUREMENT REF: 7029-GPN-39960

Background

Sarajevo Canton intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) for a project to finance the upgrade and replacement of the water and sewerage network operated by the Water and Sewer Company of Sarajevo (the “Company” or “ViK”).
The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 35 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:
   - Reconstruction of water and sewage network
   - Supply of measurement and control equipment
   - Rehabilitation of pumping stations
   - Rehabilitation of chlorination facilities
   - Project implementation support, design, procurement and supervision

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Eligibility

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country.
