Contract description                                                                                         Maximum budget: 400 000 EUR
                                                      
The purpose of the contract is to increase the level of information and public awareness about the European Union, its policies and programmes and their impact on citizens' daily lives; the process of integration of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia into the European Union as well as about the European Union's role in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (including the objectives and results of the EU's financial assistance programmes). The contract will include various information and communication activities with the aim of building public support for the accession process based on well-informed and realistic expectations, such as: creation and implementation of strategies and information campaigns, running of the EU Information Centre in Skopje and coordination of the EU information network in the country, event and visit management, press and media relations (including media monitoring), web page development and update, networking, production of publications and promotional materials, update of databases, research issues and other necessary activities in the information and communication domain.

Eligibility

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.  Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
