AAM MANAGEMENT INFORMATION CONSULTING LTD. (AAM Consulting), founded in 1994, is the largest independent locally-owned consulting company in Hungary. AAM Consulting provides support in the areas of management and IT consulting to a wide variety of long term clients ranging from the public administration through local SMEs to most major players in the local and international private business. All our (currently some 130) consultants are highly educated and steadily motivated professionals with extensive experience and adequate foreign language skills. The projects we are involved in are mostly infrastructure development and Institution Building projects being funded by the European Union and the World Bank; with ever expanding general project activities in the public and private sector. In 2005 AAM established its first foreign subsidiary in Bucharest, under the name S.C. AAM Management Information Consulting S.R.L. (AAM Romania) providing local general consulting services. In 2010, our second subsidiary outside Hungary has also been established in Croatia.
AAM Management Information Consulting is looking for a Senior Engineering Expert (Non-Key Expert) for its ongoing IPA Project “Development of an EU “Acquis”-compliant electricity legislative framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina“. The Project provides technical assistance to transpose the Third Energy Package of the EU in the field of Electricity into the legislation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Senior Engineering Expert will take part in the project activities. He/she will provide inputs in the drafting of the legislation and prepare drafts of technical parts of the legislation, as needed. In this work, the Expert will communicate, in coordination with the two Key Experts, with the Beneficiaries of the project and relevant energy sector enterprises as it may be necessary to achieve objectives of this assignment. The Expert will also take part in competence building schemes implemented by the Project.
Eligibility
- University degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in English language including professional vocabulary
- Min 10 years of professional experience with at least 8 years in the field of energy and/or electricity
- Proven experience in Acquis communautaire in energy and transposition is a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural setting
- In-depth knowledge of electricity sector structure and electric power systems
- Past experience in legal and regulatory development in line with EU electricity acquis, in particular with the Third Energy Package.
- Experience in capacity-building and training program implementation.
