Background
The overall goal of the project “Strengthened implementation of smaller communities rights” is to support the Agency for Community Rights Realisation, in line with its mandate, to implement the international and OSCE standards related to promotion and protection of the rights of smaller communities present in the host country.
Eligibility
- Citizenship of Macedonia
- University education in law, social sciences, political sciences or related field
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience in the area of minority rights or other area of human rights protection
- Thorough knowledge of the minority rights issues in the country, the international standards and the legal framework for minority rights
implementation and protection
- Proven ability to conduct practical oriented research in minority rights, to undertake analysis and produce reports
- Proven experience in consultancy: conducting relevant researches and analysis; Published relevant texts, reports and analysis in the areas
of minority rights protection and implementation
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication, writing and organization skills
- Computer literacy
- Fluent spoken and written English and Macedonian
Tasks and responsibilities
- Developing the research methodology in close cooperation and coordination with the Agency and the project manager;
- Organising and implementing the research with the active involvement of the Agency;
- Developing all the required questionnaires and correspondence for gathering of information from central and local level stakeholders;
- Organising and implementing interviews and focus group discussions with relevant stakeholders at central and local level with active
involvement and support by the Agency;
- Developing the layout of the Report and identifying the resource materials; and Producing the Report.
