Contract description

Establishment of Natura 2000 and implementation of CITES. In relation to CITES, the service contract will amongst others support the improvement of knowledge and the development of skills in all enforcement authorities in conducting their tasks and duties regarding wildlife trade. With regards to Natura 2000, the service contract will amongst others support preparation for — and eventually the setting up of the Natura 2000 preliminary list through mapping habitat types and designated SACs (special areas for conservation) and SPAs (special protected areas).
