Background
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the rule of law by further supporting general law enforcement and the overall fight against organized crime with a focus on financial and economic crime.
The purpose of this project is to further strengthen Kosovo Legal Education Reform.
The focus of this project is to further develop KJI capacity for it to play its role in providing professionally training to future and sitting judges and prosecutors as well as professions within the judiciary.
Discussion on the legal framework of legal education in Kosovo is on going. The beneficiary institution, should KJI be renamed, will be the Kosovo institutions in charge of training of future and sitting judges and prosecutors and other professions within the judiciary.
In that context, this project will build on the basis established by the (IPA 2008) Legal Education Reform Twinning project.
