Contract description

This contract is meant to support all criminal justice actors (judges, prosecutors, police and defense attorneys)in the implementation of the new criminal procedure code through an initial training needs analysis and subsequent specialized thematic training, as well as the preparation of a best practice guide. In order for the Serbian Government and the general public to obtain regular unbiased reports and assessments of the CPC implementation, civil sector institutions will be selected and trained for subsequent trial monitoring. The third aspect of this contract will cover witnesses and victim protection, starting with a study, including a review of the current legal framework, followed by the preparation and delivery of training for judges, prosecutors and other court employees.

Eligibility

Participation is open  to all  legal persons participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory  of the regions covered and/or authorised by the  specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed (see also item 29 below). Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.

Budget

Maximum budget: 1 300 000 EUR
