Duties and responsibilities
-Assist in coordination of the project and timely implementation of project activities;
-Assist in coordination with government officials and other counterparts on planning and management of integrated monitoring
-Assist in provision of technical assistance to sub-recipients to effectively monitor GFATM implementation (laboratory network);
-Assist in assessment of data quality and notification on any inconsistencies that have been observed;
-Assist in identification of any possible issues, cause of delay or threats to accomplish project targets and subsequently alert
-Assist in liaison with project and research partners (PHIs, CCM, NGOs, MoHs etc.) for data collection methodologies
-Assist in development and maintenance of databases of TB laboratories ,and partners working in the field of tuberculoses;
-Assist in data collection, data management and analysis - routine tracking of key indicators of the Project (Performance Indicators);
-Assist in timely preparation and submission of required projects reports based on the Work Plan of the GFATM Grant Agreement
-Assist in provision of guidance and support to network of TB laboratories;
-Entering all data provided by laboratory network into data base and comparison with data received by other partners;
-Presentation and provision of data entered (summary data, disaggregated data as per request of Monitoring and Evaluation unit and LFA);
-Perform monitoring visits to TB laboratories.
-Filing documentation (reports, meetings, minutes etc);
-Assist in preparation of power point presentation for various meetings;
-Assist in organization of events/meetings/training (logistic).
-Organizes field visits, missions and conferences; participate if applicable;
-Preparation of all related background materials for discussions, correspondence and briefing sessions;
-Drafts routine official documents;
-Organizes meetings; Takes and follows up on the minutes;
-Provision of translation in accordance with business processes ;
-Maintenance of contacts with the stakeholders;
-Maintenance of project files.
Required skills
-Secondary school education or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is a distinct advantage.
-Relevant training in the field of M&EAt least 4 years of relevant administrative experience.
-Relevant experience in the field of M&E of disease prevention programmes would be considered as advantage.
-Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages and in handling of web-based management system.
-Demonstrate experience working in complex environments, preferable in providing support to governmental institutions
-Preference will be given to candidates with strong Monitoring and Evaluation skills.
-Familiarity with UNDP system, rules and procedures is an advantage.
-Language proficiency in both written and oral English and BIH languages
