Duties and responsibilities
-assist NBRM staff to strengthen its expertise in implementation of ICAAP;
-develop and implement a methodology for evaluation of banks’ Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP),
through the framework of the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP).
-Prepare an analysis and assessment of the current national regulatory framework on ICAAP and identify potential shortcomings;
-Prepare an internal NBRM methodology for evaluation of banks’ ICAAP;
-Make a presentation for NBRM, on the implementation of the national ICAAP regulation;
-Train NBRM staff on implementation of the internal methodology;
-On-the-spot testing and implementation of the internal methodology for evaluation of banks’ ICAAP framework
(evaluation and review of the ICAAP reports of eight banks, submitted to NBRM);
-Make a presentation to NBRM on the general findings of the conducted supervisory review of the banks’ ICAAP reports.
Required skills and experience
-University degree;
-Minimum of ten (10) years of working experience in nature protection or biodiversity inventory;
-Five (5) years of experience as project leader in biodiversity/ecosystems inventory and monitoring.
-Experience in organisation of field surveys for large areas (i.e. country, regions, etc.);
-Experience in project management and coordination (projects with more than twenty people/experts);
-Experience in project management related to habitat/vegetation mapping;
-Experience in organisation and application of field surveys for habitat/vegetation mapping is considered as advantage;
-Experience in ecological modelling and/or remote sensing.-Detailed and direct knowledge of country habitats through years of
professional work is considered as advantage;
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory;
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in Croatian are considered as advantage.
